How are charges handled for After Hours calls?
Insurances will not pay for “after hours" services at this time. If new services are provided there is a $45.00 charge which is not billed to the insurance– it is billed to the patient. This fee does not apply if:
1. We have seen you for the same problem in the past week
-OR-
2. You follow up with an office visit within the next week for the same problem.
If your urgent care copay is less than our charge you may want to consider obtaining care at an urgent care facility.
